May 10, 2008 - 1st Annual Walk for
Ovarian Cancer
Our first walk
in DesMoines for ovarian cancer survivors and to remember those
who lost their battle, is Saturday,
May 10, 2008. Preregistration the day of starts at Grays
Lake at 8am with the walk starting at 9am. The walk consists
of one lap around Grays Lake, starting at the peninsula, so the
total walk is 2.2 miles. Below is the link to access the
registration form, so that you may print it and pre-register
by mail to us. Most of the details of the walk and directions

October 11, 2008 - The Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society's Light The Night Walk is the nation's night to pay tribute
and bring hope to people battling cancer. The annual event
brings communities together to celebrate and commemorate lives
touched by cancer. The
2008 Walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 11th at West Glen

Team In Training (TNT) is the world's largest endurance
sports training and fundraising program. As you train, you will
raise funds for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to invest in
research to find cures for blood cancers and improve the quality
of life of patients and their families. Train with great

This event is hosted by a Lance Armstrong Foundation
(LAF) fundraiser to raise funds for the LAF. This is not

John Stoddard Cancer Center.
